
Terry is a senior lecturer in the School of Life Sciences. His background is in Human Factors, and most of his research work has been in applied cognitive psychology. He has experience of research and project management in numerous:
• European,
• Health & Safety Executive,
• Scottish Government,
• Department for Transport, and
• Research council-funded projects.
His research has focused on the safety implications of:
• attentional allocation
• operator workload
• task autonomy, and
• task conflict
